Overview In this role you lead HR strategy and operations for a Ritz-Carlton property, aligning HR delivery with brand and property goals. You will drive talent acquisition, succession planning, performance development, and HR service delivery with a focus on efficiency and coaching. You work with considerable independence to implement processes and a property HR Business Plan that supports business success. You act as a change agent, delivering HR initiatives that impact employees and owners, and you contribute to the property executive committee with HR insights. Responsibilities- Translate business priorities into property HR strategies, plans and actions
- Lead succession planning and talent management initiatives at property and market level
- Oversee HR initiatives and ensure alignment with brand and property objectives
- Manage staffing strategy and staffing decisions to balance talent development and business needs
- Lead compensation planning for hourly staff and oversee total compensation programs
- Ensure HR staff are trained and respond effectively to employee relations questions
- Monitor use of HR systems (e.g., myHR) to optimize HR service delivery
- Act as change manager for high-impact initiatives and report HR results to owners' meetings
- Supervise on-property HR staff and market-based HR specialists where appropriate
- Support performance improvement, engagement activities, and leadership development
Key requirements- Two-year degree in HR, Business Admin, or related; 4 years HR/operations experience OR Four-year bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, or related; 2 years HR/operations experience
