Overview In this role you will represent clients in catastrophic personal injury and medical malpractice cases within a leading Philadelphia plaintiff-focused firm. You will manage cases from inception to resolution, collaborating with senior attorneys to shape strategy and prepare for hearings and trials. You'll perform in-depth research, draft pleadings and discovery, and consistently update case files while staying current on relevant laws. This is a hands-on, cross-functional litigation role with meaningful impact for injured clients.
Responsibilities- Represent clients in catastrophic personal injury and medical malpractice matters
- Manage caseload from inception through close
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies
- Prepare for and conduct depositions and discovery proceedings
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies
- Assist with trial exhibits, witness interviews, and trial briefs
- Maintain accurate case files and organize evidence
- Attend court hearings, conferences, and other proceedings
- Stay updated on changes in laws and precedents affecting cases
Key requirements- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school in good standing
- Admission to the State Bar and in good standing
- 5-15 years of experience in Plaintiff PI or Medical Malpractice
