Responsibilities- Deliver audit-ready financial schedules and technical position papers ahead of month-end close
- Produce timely, authoritative technical accounting memos for non-routine transactions
- Partner with legal and operational teams to identify accounting implications before contracts are finalized
- Lead the implementation of new accounting pronouncements to stay ahead of regulatory changes and SEC deadlines
- Leverage AI-powered research tools to enhance GAAP analysis and documentation workflows
- Execute SOX 404 documentation and coordinate audits to avoid significant deficiencies or material weaknesses
Key requirements- Authoritative knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC rules, with focus on revenue recognition, financial instruments, and complex entity structures
- Experience leading financial audits or SEC reporting for large-scale, registered organizations (10-K/10-Q)
- Advanced AI literacy and ability to translate complex standards into actionable guidance
- Exceptional communication to convey complex accounting concepts to executives and auditors
