Overview In this role you will advance proteomics applications in a fast-paced environment, delivering LC-MS demonstrations, method development, and training. You'll collaborate with sales, service, and product teams to support pre-sales and customer adoption, while shaping proteomics workflows and data-driven solutions. You will represent SCIEX in the proteomics community and act as a scientific brand ambassador. This position combines hands-on science with customer-facing leadership to drive impact in life sciences and pharmaceutical markets.

Responsibilities- Lead LC/MS demonstrations and proteomics workflows for customers
- Provide field application support and training to drive adoption
- Develop end-to-end workflows including sample prep, methods, and data processing
- Collaborate with sales and product teams to identify opportunities and influence decisions
- Contribute to product innovation by testing hardware and software solutions
- Represent SCIEX at conferences and engage stakeholders across scientific, commercial, and executive audiences
Key requirements- Exceptional presentation, communication, and customer-facing skills
- BS in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Life Sciences with 10+ years, MS with 5+ years, or PhD with 3+ years in mass spectrometric analysis
- Demonstrated experience in proteomics workflows
- Hands-on LC/MS quantitative and qualitative workflows using accurate mass instrumentation
- Ability to operate effectively in customer-facing environments and influence stakeholders
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within North America
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
