Overview In this role you will support a well-established probate and estate planning practice in Dayton, Ohio, helping individuals and families plan for the future. You will work with cross-functional colleagues to manage estate-related matters from planning to administration. The work centers on crafting tailored documents, guiding clients through legal options, and ensuring compliant, timely progress. This position offers meaningful client interaction and opportunities to shape wealth preservation and succession planning.
Responsibilities- Prepare customized estate planning instruments (wills, trusts, powers of attorney and related documents).
- Oversee probate proceedings and estate administration from filing to resolution in compliance with Ohio law.
- Counsel clients on wealth preservation, family succession, and asset transfer options.
- Conduct client meetings to gather information, explain recommendations, and provide clear guidance.
- Manage a personal caseload with attention to deadlines, document prep, court requirements, and ongoing client communication.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure smooth progress and timely, thorough service.
