Overview As a Project Manager, Functional Transformation in Deloitte's GPS SAP team, you drive SAP-enabled transformation across the full implementation lifecycle. You lead functional delivery for large SAP S/4HANA modernization programs, guiding design through deployment and stabilization. You facilitate workshops to define future-state processes and promote standardization and leading practices. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure thorough deliverables, testing, and data migration readiness, delivering compliant, scalable ERP solutions in government settings. Responsibilities- Lead functional delivery for large-scale SAP S/4HANA modernization programs, from design to post-go-live stabilization
- Facilitate client workshops to define future-state processes and drive fit-to-standard decisions
- Produce and govern core implementation deliverables (design docs, configuration rationale, test artifacts, cutover plans, deployment readiness, training support)
- Partner with integration and data teams to plan interfaces and validate data migration readiness
- Lead and support integrated testing across unit, SIT, and UAT to ensure traceability from requirements to sign-off
- Embed ERP controls into design, testing, cutover, and post-production processes to support audit readiness and compliance
- Coordinate deployment and go-live readiness activities (cutover planning, control migration, issue resolution, training)
- Collaborate across functional, technical, and program teams to deliver secure, scalable SAP solutions in regulated government settings; travel as needed
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years experience delivering SAP implementations including hands-on SAP S/4HANA transformations
- 5+ years experience producing or governing core implementation deliverables (solution/design docs, configuration rationale, test artifacts, cutover plans, deployment readiness materials)
- 5+ years experience in regulated environments with ERP controls, audit readiness, and compliance expectations
- 1+ years experience partnering with integration and data teams on interfaces and data migration planning in complex ERP programs
- 1+ years experience supporting integrated testing activities (Unit, SIT, UAT) for functional business processes
- Ability to travel up to 25%
