We are seeking a seasoned Treatment Coordinator to join our well-established dental practice near University City in San Diego!

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $32 - 36/hour (depending on skills and experience)

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of treatment planning experience, a proactive approach to maintaining a full schedule, and strong organizational and multitasking skills. Additionally, they should be able to carry out the listed responsibilities while fostering our practice's culture and upholding our patient-first philosophy.

Responsibilities:

  • Patient Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, explaining proposed dental treatments and answering any questions related to PPO insurance coverage
  • Insurance Coordination: Obtain breakdowns of dental benefits, ensuring patients understand their coverage and financial responsibilities

Administrative Tasks:

  • Multitask efficiently by auditing and scanning patient charts.
  • Assist patients with medical history updates and update contact info.
  • Prepare digital charts for the next day's appointments.
  • Fill schedule gaps when openings occur.
  • Positive Attitude: Bring a friendly and positive demeanor to work every day.
  • Reliability: Be committed and reliable in your role.
  • Utilize Tools: Use various platforms and tools to enhance office productivity.

Qualifications:

  • REQUIRED: Minimum 3-5 years of dental office treatment coordination experience.
  • REQUIRED: Knowledge of Eaglesoft
  • Advanced knowledge of dental terminology
  • Knowledge of ADA codes and services.
  • Familiarity with PPO insurance.
  • Ability to create a positive patient experience.
