Bay State Physical Therapy, a leading provider of outpatient physical therapy in the Northeast, is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our team. Full time 40 hours per week. What You'll Do
- Welcome patients and provide outstanding customer service
- Answer phones and assist with scheduling appointments
- Verify insurance benefits and explain patient financial responsibilities
- Manage patient intake forms and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and insurance approvals
- Support clinic operations and maintain efficient schedules
- Assist with billing, payments, and administrative tasks
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a medical office, healthcare setting, or front desk role helpful
- Knowledge of insurance verification and patient financial responsibilities preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
