Healthcare Educator, Communications & Treatment Coordinator

Quest Orthodontics

Atlanta, Georgia

Job description

Job DescriptionJob Description

Watch your career grow in the highly rewarding-and FUN-world of Orthodontics! Quest Orthodontics is looking for another delightful, talented coworker to add their smile, energy, and expertise to our remarkable team! This is a full-time, permanent position with an amazing schedule and benefits - including the kind of work-life balance that makes you smile. Four days per week. Monday-Thursday, and one Friday per month. Yep you read that right!

Quest Orthodontics is the private practice of Dr. Arjun Patel and his amazing Team. Quest Orthodontics values are rooted in caring for others. They believe in putting patients first, enriching their community, committing to excellence, practicing mutual respect, and working as a team. Do these principles resonate with you? KEEP READING! Their communication with patients and parents has helped create a reputation for making every visit fast, fun, personal, and positively memorable. This harmonious group of smile wizards knows that if you want to be extraordinary, you can't only do "ordinary things."

The Treatment Coordinator plays a key role in introducing new patients and families to the practice and guiding them through their first orthodontic experience. When an adult patient - or the parent of a child who may need braces - reaches out to our office, they are beginning a journey that can impact their health, confidence, schedule, and family life for months or even years. That first interaction matters. Comfortable chewing, tooth preservation, emotional confidence, and a great first impression are all important pieces of orthodontic care. Making every step of that process positive, informative, and exciting begins with the leadership, communication, and personal connection provided by our Treatment Coordinators.

YOU'LL HAVE THEM AT HELLO.

After training with one of our seasoned Treatment Coordinators, your role will be varied, complex, technical, people-focused - and lots of fun!

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Listening to the patient/parent to learn their unique needs and goals.
  • Communicating initial findings and pertinent information to Dr. Patel.
  • Attending examinations and accurately documenting the patient record.
  • Answering patient/parent questions and helping families understand recommended treatment, upcoming appointments, esthetic options, and "care and feeding" instructions.
  • Helping patients and families feel confident about moving forward with treatment.
  • Celebrating success!

DO YOU NEED TO BE AN EXPERIENCED ORTHODONTIC WIZARD TO APPLY?

Not at all! We believe expertise is developed by matching the right-fit candidate with an excellent trainer and a supportive team. Like many members of our team, no prior dental, orthodontic, or healthcare experience is required. What matters most is your ability to communicate, connect with people, learn quickly, think critically, and bring the right energy to the team. We will teach you our technology, terminology, and processes. You bring the initiative, curiosity, and willingness to learn - and we'll all be smiling!

ARE YOU QUALIFIED TO APPLY?

Among our many requirements, we are seeking candidates with:

  • A BS or BA from an accredited university in Communications, Education, English, Psychology, Business, Marketing, Public Relations, or another related field. Candidates without a bachelor's degree are absolutely welcome to apply if their career experience has provided a strong foundation in critical thinking, time management, communication, and Grade-A writing skills.
  • A stable work history.
  • A SMILE that represents the meaningful impact of what we do!
  • Experience presenting value, discussing price, building value, listening to concerns, and solving problems.
  • Excellent references.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to become comfortable with new technology and software.
  • Fast, accurate, and detail-oriented data entry skills.
  • The ability to successfully multitask while balancing people skills and technology.
  • Initiative, curiosity, and a genuine eagerness to learn.
  • The desire to partner with our team through several weeks of training to learn the ins and outs of the most rewarding and upbeat field in healthcare ORTHODONTICS!

REWARDING COMPENSATION WITH A MOST IDEAL WORK SCHEDULE!

This is a full-time, Monday-Thursday position. Enjoy your 3-day weekend - perfect for you-time, family-time, travel-time, or simply doing absolutely nothing-time! Additional benefits include: Uniforms, 401(k), Bonuses, Paid time off, Orthodontic care, if desired, and, of course, the opportunity to build a rewarding career with an exceptional team!
