Receptionist
PART-TIME Saturday and Sunday 8am-4pm
Walk in interviews 10am -3pm daily
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Receptionist to join our team at the Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury, a premier rehabilitation facility in Lake Katrine, New York. As a receptionist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, answering incoming calls, and supporting the daily operations of our facility. Responsibilities:
Operate a multiline telephone and paging system, answer incoming calls, and route calls to the appropriate party
Greet and direct all visitors to the facility, ensuring they sign-in and refuse entry to the facility if necessary
Maintain accurate files and listings of residents, on-call personnel, department extensions, and key personnel
Respond to inquiries about job openings, distribute job applications, and provide callers with information about our facility
Receive, sort, and forward incoming mail, and coordinate the pick-up and delivery of mail services
Report resident concerns and suspicious behavior to the appropriate department head/supervisor
Handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
Work in an organized fashion, keeping the lobby and workstation clean and free of hazards
Report hazardous conditions, damaged equipment, and supply issues to the supervisor
Communicate effectively and interact with residents, visitors, families, and employees
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication skills
Solid computer skills
Positive attitude with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to read, write, and speak English to the extent necessary for safe and efficient performance of the job
Flexibility to work on holidays and during inclement weather as needed
