Receptionist
Marvin and Betty Danto Health Care Center, located in West Bloomfield Township, Michigan, is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Receptionist to join our healthcare team.
As a Receptionist at Marvin and Betty Danto Health Care Center, you will be the first point of contact for patients, families, and staff members. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, answering phone calls, and greeting visitors in a warm and welcoming manner.
Responsibilities:
• Greet patients, families, and staff members in a professional and courteous manner
• Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages and providing information as needed
• Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases
• Coordinate appointments, surgeries, and treatments with patients and healthcare teams
• Provide administrative support to healthcare teams, including preparation of reports and documents
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a positive first impression for all visitors
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in healthcare administration or a related field an asset
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
