Part-Time or Full-Time Monday-Friday Day Shift
Are you an experienced medical receptionist who is dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a busy outpatient medical office?
Pain & Rehabilitation Physicians, P.C. is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our Southfield team. We are looking for someone who understands the pace and responsibilities of a medical front desk and can help us provide an efficient, professional experience for our patients.

What You'll Do

• Greet and check in patients professionally and efficiently
• Answer incoming calls and schedule appointments
• Verify patient demographic and insurance information
• Assist with patient intake and required paperwork
• Collect copays, balances, and other patient payments
• Check patients out and schedule follow-up appointments
• Communicate with physicians, medical assistants, and physical therapy staff regarding patient needs
• Help maintain accurate schedules and smooth patient flow
• Keep the front desk and reception area organized and professional

What We're Looking For
Previous medical office or healthcare front desk experience is strongly preferred.
The ideal candidate:

• Has experience working at a medical office, outpatient clinic, physical therapy office, specialty practice, or similar healthcare setting
• Understands medical scheduling, patient check-in/check-out, and front desk workflow
• Is comfortable working with computers and electronic medical records
• Is reliable and punctual
• Communicates professionally with patients and coworkers
• Can multitask without becoming overwhelmed
• Pays attention to detail
• Learns new systems quickly
• Works well as part of a team
• Is interested in a stable, long-term position
