Job description

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support medication fulfillment and pharmacy operations under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. The Pharmacy Technician will select, pick, and package medications and supplies in preparation for shipment to patients. This role will also perform record-keeping duties and assist with inventory control processes as needed. Pay: $20.00/hour Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 12:00 PM-9:00 PM; Friday, 10:30 AM-7:30 PM Key Responsibilities Select, pick, and package medications and supplies for shipment to patients. Perform required record-keeping and documentation. Assist with inventory control and related processes. Work under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. Operate departmental equipment and machinery as required. Assist with additional operational duties as needed. Cross-train on the Operations Assistant/Materials Coordinator position while on assignment and provide support in those functions as needed. Required Qualifications Active California Pharmacy Technician License - REQUIRED. National pharmacy technician certification does not replace the required California license. Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment. Ability to stand for the duration of an 8-10 hour shift. Ability to repeatedly lift 5-10 lbs. throughout the shift. Ability to occasionally lift up to 30-50 lbs. unassisted - REQUIRED. Ability to reach and grasp objects at various levels. Ability to use a keyboard and operate departmental machinery. Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively around moving equipment. Physical Demands Stand for extended periods, including the full duration of an 8-10 hour shift. Repeatedly lift 5-10 lbs. Occasionally lift up to 30-50 lbs. unassisted during a shift. Reach and grasp objects at various levels. Utilize a keyboard and operate departmental machinery. Work Environment Regularly works near and around moving machinery, including conveyor belts. Noise levels are generally moderate. Protective clothing or equipment may be required. This is a safety-sensitive position, and employees are expected to follow all applicable safety procedures and requirements.
