Overview As a Distinguished MTS, you will steer the technical vision for the Seller journey, shaping a modern, decoupled architecture across web, mobile, and backend systems. You'll lead legacy transformation, domain boundaries, and client-backed decoupling using Federated GraphQL, while maintaining architectural integrity and fast learning cycles. You balance strategic design with hands-on coding to drive scalable, safe, and high-quality solutions. This role offers impact at scale within a fast-moving, collaborative engineering culture with a strong emphasis on psychological safety and experimentation.

Responsibilities- Define outcome-led technical strategies and measure success using BVSSH metrics
- Lead the transformation of monolithic services into a distributed architecture
- Guide Domain-Driven Design and descaling to create clean bounded contexts
- Architect Federated GraphQL to empower Web and Mobile teams
- Optimize for flow efficiency and enable safe, fast experiments in JVM services
- Foster a blameless culture with psychological safety and intelligent failure
- Lead by hands-on contribution, building foundational patterns and reducing anti-patterns
Key requirements- 15-20+ years of engineering leadership experience
- Proven track record delivering large-scale enterprise-grade solutions
- Full-stack fluency in Java, Kotlin, Scala; modern Web FE (React/Node) and Native Mobile (iOS/Android)
- Strong knowledge of Spring, Docker, Kubernetes; automated testing and CI/CD
- Experience with service-based architectures, Domain-Driven Design, and reactive/event-driven systems
- Transformation experience modernizing monolithic systems and implementing Federated GraphQL
- Strong leadership, communication, and mentorship skills
