Overview Senior Structural Engineer to lead structural design within a multi-disciplinary energy team. Responsibilities- Supervise and mentor a team of structural engineers and lead projects as Structural Lead/Engineering of Record
- Own deliverables and contribute to design work across projects
- Develop and implement group standards and templates; evaluate software tools for efficiency
- Create task lists, estimate hours, and schedule to support business development
- Collaborate across disciplines on equipment layouts, site plans, retrofits, and specifications
- Provide technical input for risk assessments and due diligence studies
- Oversee lifecycle project phases from feasibility to commissioning
- Perform quality control on others' work and present at internal/client meetings
- Travel occasionally to client sites and meetings
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
- Effective collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience with power generation facilities (fossil, thermal, nuclear)
- Complex structural modeling experience
- Field construction and commissioning experience
