Overview In this role you will lead the design and governance of enterprise security standards across IT and OT, aligning with the cybersecurity roadmap and Zero Trust principles. You will own architecture standards, engineering roadmaps, and the reliability of security platforms, while driving security across cloud, identity, network, and OT. You'll guide modernization and continuous improvement of security posture, including AI governance and threat-informed design. This is a hands-on leadership position focused on risk-aware, compliant security at scale in a utility environment.

Responsibilities- Define and maintain enterprise security architecture standards across cloud, identity, network, and OT
- Drive continuous improvements to security posture of infrastructure and systems
- Lead enterprise cybersecurity initiatives (cloud security, Zero Trust, platform modernization)
- Govern AI governance by embedding security in emerging technologies
- Serve as security design authority and collaborate with enterprise architecture on segmentation and monitoring
- Oversee security monitoring/automation platforms and mentor engineers
- Establish security architecture lifecycle processes (threat modeling, design reviews, post-implementation validation)
- Coordinate with SOC and vulnerability management for continuous improvement
- Support values and mission through leadership and inclusive workplace practices
Key requirements- 7 years of cybersecurity experience including architecture, engineering, or leadership
- 3 years of enterprise-level security architecture or engineering leadership
- Experience designing enterprise security architecture across cloud, IAM/PAM, network segmentation, and security monitoring platforms (SIEM/SOAR/TIP)
