Overview In this role you lead a small offshore team to shape the SDP platform's patterns and architecture, enabling feature development and bug resolution. You establish best practices and a robust technical foundation that the squad builds upon. You will guide requirements, design data schemas, and oversee implementation with a microservices focus. You collaborate across disciplines to drive scalable, reliable software while mentoring engineers and documenting technical decisions. This is a hands-on leadership role with a strong impact on platform quality and delivery.
Responsibilities- Implement applications using microservices architecture
- Perform code reviews
- Coordinate team work tasks
- Lead requirements analysis and system architecture, including building data base schemas and selecting development approaches
- Technical specification and task estimation
- Perform Scrum ceremonies (planning, retrospective, etc.)
- Mentor team members
- Prepare technical documentation
Key requirements- Seven or more years of Software Engineering experience with a focus on APIs and system integration
- Experience with front-end technologies (Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS) and back-end technologies (Java 8+, Spring Boot/Security, Hibernate (JPA), SQL, REST)
- Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of portal software, design, and development
- Experience working with or leading offshore Software Developers
- Strong technical documentation skills
