Overview

In this role you will partner with senior design leaders to identify and secure top executive talent for Amazon's Design teams. You'll craft strategic search approaches, engage busy executives, and lead confidential searches across Principal, Director, and VP levels. You'll influence talent strategy, build robust talent networks, and elevate the candidate experience while partnering with cross-functional teams. This opportunity offers meaningful impact through shaping design leadership and scaling innovative talent pipelines.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with research teams and conduct your own searches to cultivate candidates for innovative and scalable business growth
  • Create unique, robust search strategies to place leaders at the right time and roles
  • Advance engagement with Principal, Director, and VP level design talent to raise hiring standards
  • Share intelligence on industries and talent pools to improve team knowledge and sourcing
  • Build robust design talent networks across technology and education sectors for evergreen candidate pipelines
  • Own stakeholder relationships and provide strategic guidance in collaboration with executive hiring managers and their teams
  • Conduct informational calls, phone screens, interviews, and references; participate in hiring decisions throughout the lifecycle
Key requirements
  • 5+ years advising and influencing executive leadership
  • 7+ years of progressive recruiting with a focus on passive engineering talent in a high-tech market
  • Experience recruiting in engineering, technical operations, and product management
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience building sourcing initiatives and pipelines
  • Experience managing multiple searches, projects, and client relationships
  • Experience with recruiting tools and CRM systems
  • Strong communication and strategic advisory capabilities
