Overview In this role you will drive enterprise AI fluency, governance, and tooling standards at Johnson Controls. You will coordinate across AI foundations and shared workstreams to ensure a unified, scalable AI strategy. You will partner with HR, security, legal, and functional leaders to embed safe, reusable AI capabilities. Success hinges on influencing colleagues and shaping adoption rather than delivering individual work.

Responsibilities- Own enterprise AI enablement strategy, curriculum, and cadence; identify capability gaps and drive from tool availability to habitual use
- Define and maintain AI licensing standards and tooling personas; map roles to tools and training paths
- Coordinate across AI foundations portfolio and related workstreams; maintain integrated view and surface risks
- Serve as AI Week point person: planning, content coordination, logistics, and post-event reporting
- Partner with HR/L&D on enterprise AI fluency programs and caregiver initiatives like Agent in a Day and AI Coffee Chats
- Identify where AI applies to non-AI functions and route build requests to delivery teams
- Monitor progress with quantitative metrics and report to leadership
Key requirements- 7+ years of professional experience; 2+ years leading enablement, standards, or programs in a tech or data organization
- Experience driving technology adoption and measuring it quantitatively
- Experience operating in a matrixed environment with shared ownership
- People management experience or readiness
- Experience with enterprise AI tooling landscape; ability to converse credibly with AI engineers
- Influence without authority
- Consultative stance with stakeholders
- Clear written and verbal communication for diverse audiences
- Fluency with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and agent platforms
- Understanding of agentic architecture: agent design patterns, reuse/repository models, knowledge grounding, semantic layers
- Analytics for usage and adoption metrics; building executive-ready reports
