Tax Senior Manager Real Estate

In this role you are the Subject Matter Expert within the business unit, guiding engagement work and sharing knowledge to clients and internal teams. You will manage client engagements end-to-end, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality reviews, while identifying opportunities to expand services. You will lead and mentor staff, develop proposals, and partner with leadership on new client development and cross-service goals. You will balance technical oversight with client communication, billing, and budgeting to support growth and client satisfaction. This position offers the chance to shape advisory services for middle-market clients and contribute to CBIZ's growth and culture.

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and share knowledge within the business unit
• Recommend improvements to internal department procedures
• Identify client and CBIZ opportunities and act as trusted advisor
• Manage staff on engagement deliverables and perform final reviews for quality control
• Lead new client development, participate in client meetings, and contribute to proposals
• Oversee billing, realization, and engagement budgeting; explain variances
• Understand client's Qualified Plan needs as applicable
• Coach, train, and mentor staff; conduct performance evaluations
• Foster a collaborative team environment and support management decisions
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in unknown field
• 8 years of experience in public accounting or related field
• 5 years of supervisory experience
• Active CPA or equivalent certification
• Ability to manage all aspects of client engagements
• Ability to manage deadlines and multi-task prioritization
• Strong verbal and written communication across all organizational levels
• Proficient use of applicable technology
• Willingness to travel as needed
