Overview In this role, you will provide clinical oversight of pediatric care across HCCH sites, balancing direct patient care with administrative leadership. You will supervise pediatric providers, shape policies, and ensure evidence-based practice and vaccination guidance. You will collaborate with clinical leadership to uphold quality standards and expand pediatric services, while maintaining robust relationships with subspecialists and the community. This position offers a blend of hands-on pediatrics and strategic growth in a mission-driven health system.
Responsibilities- Supervise mid-level pediatric providers
- Lead HCCH pediatric clinics
- Create policies and procedures for pediatric care
- Facilitate regular pediatric provider meetings
- Guide growth and expansion of pediatric services
- Review pediatric quality metrics
- Provide primary and urgent care for pediatric patients
- Examine and treat patients in the office
- Refer patients to specialists as needed
- Assist with pediatric triage
- Maintain electronic medical records
- Develop cooperative arrangements with pediatric providers and subspecialists
- Participate in community outreach events
- Promote a positive work environment and maintain dialogue with leadership
Key requirements- MD or DO in pediatrics
- Completion of an accredited pediatrics residency
- Board certification in Pediatrics
- At least three years post-residency experience in pediatrics
- Experience with an electronic medical record system
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with creating dashboards
- Experience with policy development and implementation
