Overview In this role you lead the Contracts team for the F-35 Production BU, directing negotiation, administration, and compliance across production, obsolescence, and support equipment contracts. You will collaborate with program, finance, legal, and other functions to align contract strategy with business goals. You'll drive risk management, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvements while supporting growth initiatives. Responsibilities- Serve as Contracts Lead for the F-35 Production BU, overseeing production, obsolescence, and support equipment contracts
- Lead and develop a high-performing contracts team in collaboration with Program and Finance leadership
- Provide guidance on interpretation, risk, terms, regulatory requirements, and lifecycle contract changes
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to drive process improvements and communicate risks/opportunities to senior leadership
- Coordinate with customer representatives and ensure compliance with laws and Delegation of Authority
- Support audits and ensure final contract documents reflect negotiated agreements
- Assist with training of contract practices and compile contractual data/reports
Key requirements- Significant USG contracting experience; FAR and DFARS
- Significant proposal/capture experience
- Significant experience with OEM product production contracting (including production during development)
- Ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance
