Overview In this role you will focus on profitable, high quality New Business underwriting for commercial classes while building strong Broker relationships. You will proactively engage with Brokers to maximise opportunities, deliver exceptional customer service, and secure attractive deals. You'll work closely with Brokers, often in their offices, to assess risks and support colleagues with underwriting expertise. This position supports growth through superior underwriting and client-facing collaboration, contributing to the company's broker-led revenue strategy.

Responsibilities- Underwrite and price New Business profitably and accurately
- Decide on acceptance or rejection of risks
- Identify and evaluate additional risk information as needed
- Maintain and develop relationships with Brokers through regular contact
- Assist colleagues with technical and procedural underwriting aspects
Key requirements- Strong experience of working as a Commercial Underwriter
- Track record of successful Broker relationships
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
