Mission Critical Due Diligence and Planning Project Manager

Overview

In this role you drive front-end data center due diligence and planning, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams from concept to completion. You will build and sustain client relationships across a global base, supporting program management on large-scale projects. Your work shapes site selection, master planning and pre-design activities for data centers and related facilities. Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage due diligence and front-end planning for Data Centers; may expand to Semiconductor, Industrial, and Infrastructure projects
  • Lead multi-disciplinary project teams to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction
  • Manage travel to project sites and client meetings (10-30%), including international assignments
  • Control budgets, scope, and schedules; ensure deliverables meet quality standards
  • Forecasting, invoicing, and contract management
  • Develop proposal content including scope, schedule and budget
  • Support client program management on large-scale projects
  • Coordinate with local office leads, business group leads, and marketing managers
  • Participate in project pursuits and define project scope
  • Coordinate and supervise architects and engineers; establish client relations and participate in marketing, design and production meetings
  • Engage with governing agencies for compliance reviews
  • Lead design development and contract document work sessions with multidisciplinary staff
  • Track financials and adjust work effort to meet schedules
  • Facilitate project reviews in collaboration with accounting and technical management
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 7 years related experience
  • Minimum 2 years PM experience
  • Strong interaction with design teams and excellent organizational, project management and communication skills
