Overview In this role you will lead and execute complex partnership tax engagements, delivering planning, consulting, and compliance services to clients across industries. You will manage multiple client teams, mentor staff, and drive innovative tax strategies while maintaining strong client relationships. The position emphasizes technical mastery of Sub-chapter K partnership taxation and clear collaboration with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities- Lead reviews of complex partnership tax returns and provide tax consulting
- Evaluate tax implications of partnership agreements and manage IRC 704(b) accounts
- Manage client service teams on engagements, plan and execute tax projects, develop tax strategies
- Mentor staff, assess performance, and support professional development
- Research and advise on partnership tax matters (Sub-chapter K); use tax software for prep and research
- Respond to IRS inquiries and maintain proactive client communication
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA or licensed Bar member
- 5+ years of progressive tax compliance/consulting experience
- Strong analytical, technical, and tax accounting skills; deep understanding of Sub-chapter K partnership taxation
- Excellent client service, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Leadership, recruiting, training, mentoring abilities
- Ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment
