Overview In this role you lead the end-to-end delivery for HelloFresh's WMS platform, shaping architecture, product design, and engineering execution to enable global inventory and fulfillment. You will partner across operations, automation technology, procurement, and finance to align with the WMS strategy and drive AI-assisted workflows that boost velocity and quality. Responsibilities- Own the WMS solution delivery for Infios's Warehouse Advantage platform across global locations
- Own integration architecture and reliability for host systems and ETL pipelines (Debezium/Kafka to Snowflake/Databricks)
- Support platform architecture with AWS hosting and sizing guidance
- Champion agentic engineering practices: AI-assisted PR analysis, automated test generation, and AI-powered quality gates
- Define and advance CI/CD maturity with automated deployments, feature flags, and IaC
- Partner to build a world-class QA with automated regression, AI edge-case generation, and contract testing
- Establish DORA metrics and use them to drive improvement and leadership reporting
- Lead architectural governance and tech roadmap, including legacy system modernization
- Manage vendor capacity and external partnerships to augment internal capability
- Coach and develop engineers, PMs, and team leads; collaborate on hiring and onboarding
- Drive international release consolidation and consolidate to a single global release version
- Serve on Fulfillment Technology and Automation & Technology leadership teams to align KPIs and strategic initiatives
Key requirements- 10+ years in WMS software engineering and implementation in RF-based distribution or e-commerce fulfillment
- 3+ years hands-on with Infios's Warehouse Advantage WMS (Körber/Highjump) and SQL Server
- 3+ years managing application integrations via microservices, REST APIs, event-driven architectures, and ETL pipelines
- Proven experience scaling CI/CD pipelines with automated testing gates and IaC across multi-environment stacks
- Hands-on familiarity with agentic AI tools for development productivity and code quality
- Experience defining and tracking engineering delivery metrics (DORA or similar) and driving improvements
- Experience leading migrations/refactors of legacy systems with risk mitigation and transition planning
- Experience leading design and product processes for scalable digital ecosystems
- Strong communication to translate business needs into technical roadmaps and deliverables
