Overview

In this role you plan, direct, and optimize warehouse activities to ensure timely receipt, storage, picking, and dispatch of products, while managing third-party logistics and budget. You will partner with suppliers and internal teams to uphold inventory accuracy and compliance, driving continuous improvements and cost efficiencies. This onsite role offers a chance to shape warehouse performance within ABB's mission of leaner, cleaner operations and sustainable energy solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Manage third-party logistics partnerships and oversee warehouse operations to meet production line material delivery requirements
  • Track and report KPIs against contractual standards to ensure on-time material supply and identify performance gaps
  • Monitor third-party resource utilization and implement corrective actions for cost optimization
  • Develop, propose, and manage the annual warehouse budget within approved financial parameters
  • Identify cost-related issues and implement process improvements to optimize spend
  • Plan and optimize warehouse utilization and inventory levels with logistics providers
  • Lead physical inventory counts and cycle counting for data accuracy
  • Monitor storage, delivery, and dispatch of orders; maintain accurate stock control system
  • Ensure system adherence and regulatory compliance in SAP and other operational systems
  • Implement lean practices and process improvements to enhance warehouse and logistics operations
  • Act as point of contact for inventory and logistics inquiries; resolve escalations proactively
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business management or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Warehouse Operations/ Logistics
  • Experience in SAP Warehouse Management and/or Materials Management (MM)/ Production Planning (PP) modules
  • Experience with third-party logistics is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power Query, Power BI and data analysis is preferred
  • Candidates must have work authorization to work in the US.
