Sr. Employee Relations Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead impartial investigations into workplace issues, partnering with HR, legal, and leadership to manage risk and drive improvements in organizational health. You will analyze investigation data to identify trends, design proactive strategies, and coach partners and managers on complex employee relations matters. This position combines investigative rigor with strategic collaboration to support a compliant, respectful workplace. Responsibilities
  • Lead impartial investigations into harassment, discrimination, policy violations, and workplace issues
  • Manage a caseload of sensitive matters ensuring timely investigations and resolutions
  • Develop investigative plans, conduct interviews, assess evidence, and document findings clearly
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Provide guidance and coaching to HR partners, managers, and leadership on complex ER issues and corrective actions
  • Utilize case management systems to track data, identify trends, and propose mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with Legal, HR, and Ethics & Compliance to manage escalated risks and ensure consistency
  • Analyze workforce data and feedback to identify trends and opportunities for early issue resolution
Key requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in conducting in-depth interviews and objective findings
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
  • High empathy, discretion, and emotional intelligence
  • Prior HR experience preferred
  • Ability to assess complex situations, synthesize information, and deliver solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication to prepare reports and present findings
  • Proficiency in mediating disputes and achieving equitable resolutions
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
