Overview In this role you will join a collaborative hematology/oncology group at the Edina cancer center, contributing to personalized patient care within an academic-affiliated system. You will participate in tumor boards, enroll patients in leading-edge clinical trials, and engage in quality improvement efforts. The position supports a flexible 1.0 FTE schedule with inpatient rounding among a physician-AP team and access to EPIC. You will help deliver patient-centered care in a community setting connected to University of Minnesota medicine.

Responsibilities- Provide inpatient and outpatient care with shared rounding responsibilities
- Participate in tumor boards and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions
- Enroll patients in cutting-edge clinical trials
- Engage in quality improvement committees and initiatives
- Collaborate within a group of 7 physicians and 7 Advanced Practice Providers
- Operate within an integrated EPIC electronic medical record system
Key requirements- Board eligible or board certified in Hematology/Oncology (ABMS or AOA)
- Graduate of an accredited ACGME Hematology/Oncology fellowship-training program
- Licensed or eligible for Minnesota medical licensure
- Ability to obtain/maintain Minnesota DEA certification
