Overview As a Staff Applied Scientist at Adobe, you will advance large-scale multimodal generative AI for 3D, image, and video creation used across Adobe products. Responsibilities- Design and implement novel generative models and pipelines for mesh, texture, lighting, animation, and simulation in media & entertainment use cases
- Create agentic AI workflows to generate, edit, repair, annotate, evaluate, and refine 3D/4D content
- Build large-scale synthetic data pipelines involving game engines, 3D geometry, materials, lighting, and animation
- Develop advanced techniques for conditional generation and editing to improve controllability and visual quality
- Establish robust evaluation pipelines for quality, efficiency, robustness, and safety of generative models
- Translate research concepts into production-ready implementations using Python and modern ML frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy innovations in Adobe products
- Maintain and evolve evaluation metrics and benchmarks for model quality and reliability
- Support technology transfer to product teams and contribute to reproducible research workflows
Key requirements- Ph.D. or MS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computer Graphics or a related field with 8+ years of industry experience
- Extensive practical experience in large-scale generative AI training focused on image and video generation/editing
- Experience with diffusion models, transformers, or other state-of-the-art generative architectures
- Strong working knowledge of 3D content systems (meshes, materials, textures, scene structure, cameras, lighting, animation)
- Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and ML infrastructure tools
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience with product teams on technology transfers
