Overview In this role, you will lead water treatment, pumping, storage, and distribution projects across the Northeast region, guiding design and execution while mentoring engineers. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and key clients to deliver compliant, innovative water solutions that support resilient infrastructure. You'll also help shape business development and leverage your technical and leadership skills on impactful projects.

Responsibilities- Coordinate and oversee pilot studies
- Oversee condition assessment of water infrastructure
- Perform process technology evaluations and selections based on raw water characteristics and flows
- Concept, preliminary and detail designs for water treatment plant upgrades
- Concept, preliminary and detailed designs for water distribution projects (pumping stations, storage tanks, and distribution/transmission mains)
- Coordinate with civil, hydraulic and mechanical disciplines and guide architectural, structural, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and I&C teams
- Assess marketplace trends and support business development activities related to water projects, including strategy, approach, and engineering fee
- Mentor and develop junior water process and design staff
- Participate in local and national professional organizations and present at conferences
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience with planning, design, construction, and operation of water-related projects (supply, treatment, pumping, storage, distribution)
- Excellent communication skills
- Client-facing ability
- Strong coordination with clients, sub-consultants, regulatory agencies, and public stakeholders
- Water treatment design knowledge
