Vice President, Sales Operations - Optum Financial Provider Products - Remote

Overview

In this role, you will lead revenue operations and commercial analytics for Optum Financial Provider Products, acting as the operational backbone for the Distribution organization. You'll design governance, forecasting, and AI-enabled automation to scale provider acquisition and optimize performance across sales channels and strategic partnerships. You'll partner with Finance and executive leaders to drive data-driven decisions and growth. This is a high-impact, remote-capable role."

Responsibilities
  • Develop and own CRM governance, lead management, pipeline visibility, forecasting, and sales operating rhythms
  • Build workforce management capabilities to support and scale internal and external sales teams
  • Establish commercial reporting, attribution, and performance measurement frameworks
  • Partner with Finance on forecasting, capacity planning, and unit economics
  • Improve commercial productivity, efficiency, and revenue performance
  • Lead onboarding, activation, operational support, and performance management of strategic distribution partners
  • Develop scalable operating models for referrals, embedded partnerships, and co-branded initiatives
  • Establish partner governance, scorecards, incentives, and performance reviews
  • Deliver GTM analytics, BI, and executive reporting
  • Own AI, automation, and innovation roadmap for Distribution, deploying AI-enabled workflows and agent-based capabilities
  • Create the next-generation commercial operating model to support long-term growth
Key requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, channel management, analytics, or related fields
  • Experience leveraging technology, automation, analytics, and AI to improve commercial performance
  • Experience leading commercial operations in complex organizations
  • Experience operating in distribution or partner ecosystems
  • Ability to identify automation opportunities and leverage AI to improve productivity and quality
  • Proven track record building reporting, forecasting, attribution, CRM, and performance management capabilities
  • Financial acumen and business planning experience
  • Experience partnering with Product, Marketing, Finance, and executive leadership
  • Willingness to travel 25% of the time
