You will serve as both engineer and technical project manager, applying standards and overseeing analyses, modeling, and procurement through multi-disciplinary project life cycles. Responsibilities- Lead multiple design teams across overhead and underground transmission projects
- Manage client relations, proposals, scope definitions, and new business capture
- Oversee project execution, schedule and budget monitoring, and performance reviews
- Coach, mentor, and delegate work to engineers; foster a positive, collaborative team culture
- Drive quality control and continuous improvement through streamlined processes and automation
- Prepare and respond to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs; define scope and deliverables
- Liaise with clients to develop long-term relationships and growth opportunities
- Coordinate with project managers to manage portfolio health and resources
- Participate in leadership discussions and strategic development of the Transmission Line Section
- Support staff recruitment and development, including training and performance management
- Support grid modernization initiatives using AI, automation, and digital design platforms
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience
- Expertise in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE
- Engineer In Training (EIT) certification
- Strong communication skills as primary client contact
- Business acumen with proven track record on project performance metrics
- Willingness to work onsite periodically and travel as needed
