Responsibilities- Lead the North American technical sales and nutrition strategy for premix, feed additives, and micro-ingredients across ruminant, swine, and poultry
- Establish direction, align technical capabilities with commercial priorities, and drive stronger customer value and business results
- Develop and execute a 12-month transformation roadmap to strengthen commercial impact and market execution
- Position the technical organization as a strategic commercial enabler for the business
- Lead Species Technical Sales, Nutrition, and Validation teams across countries and species
- Set technical selling standards, performance routines, and measures that link technical activity to commercial outcomes
- Collaborate with Commercial and Marketing to strengthen value propositions, go-to-market plans, and portfolio positioning
- Translate customer needs and scientific developments into practical, profitable solutions
- Provide senior-level technical and commercial leadership for strategic customers and high-value partnerships
- Lead nutritional programs, formulations, trials, validation, innovation, and governance across North America
- Influence portfolio decisions and innovation priorities with Product Management, R&D, Operations, Quality, and global teams
- Build a high-performing, commercially oriented technical organization with leadership depth
- Represent the business credibly at customer meetings, industry forums, and senior leadership discussions
Key requirements- Senior leadership experience in animal nutrition, premix, feed additives, or related livestock sector
- Proven track record leading commercial or technical-commercial transformation in a large, multi-country organization
- Experience leading senior leaders and multidisciplinary teams across multiple species or markets
- Ability to connect technical strategy with customer needs, portfolio priorities, and commercial execution
- Strong knowledge of premix and specialty nutrition market and its value drivers
- Experience establishing strategy, operating models, and accountability across dispersed teams
- Proven ability to deliver measurable business results through technical sales, customer solutions, or portfolio development
- Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional teams
- Courage to challenge established practices and lead through change
- Deep expertise in nutritional science, feed formulation, and interpretation of trial data
- Knowledge of regulatory and quality requirements (CFIA, FDA, AAFCO) in Canada/US
