Overview

In this Senior Associate role, you will manage cash reconciliation, daily reporting, and timely trade input while onboarding new clients. You'll lead and develop the Credit & Structured Products team, own process improvements, and oversee invoicing and client deliverables. You will collaborate with clients and trustees, applying market knowledge to transactions and ensuring high-quality delivery in a fast-paced environment. This opportunity combines leadership, client service, and hands-on operations within Alter Domus' Boston office.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure cash reconciliation is sent to clients and oversee daily reporting review/approval
  • Coordinate with clients on daily deliverables and align team on expectations
  • Oversee input and timely trade entry; supervise Analyst/Associate staff
  • Lead onboarding for new clients and maintain strong client relationships
  • Own training and development across C&SP staff and deliver mentor-led growth
  • Drive process improvements and ensure final delivery of solutions
  • Manage full invoice process from request through client delivery
  • Ensure timelines and deliverables meet Client and Trustee expectations
  • Prioritize, delegate, and manage workload with strong attention to detail and customer service
  • Apply market knowledge and best practices in transaction management and communications
  • Oversee procedures and review processes for junior staff
Key requirements
  • 4+ years of professional experience in finance or related business capacity
  • Basic knowledge of loan operations, commercial mortgage lending, or loan securitization with product knowledge or customer service experience
  • Experience with CLO compliance and Waterfall modeling
  • Experience in direct management and training of team members
  • Ability to independently research and resolve problems
  • Strong communication, organization, and professional demeanor
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge or familiarity with Bloomberg and loan research/analysis tools (a plus)
  • Excellent attention to detail in a high-volume data-entry environment
