Overview In this role you will lead the strategy, growth, and operations of DHL Supply Chain's parcel transportation solution across North America. You will build a multi-carrier network, negotiate carrier agreements, and design customer parcel programs to deliver profitable growth. You will establish analytics and governance to manage service, cost, capacity, and profitability while partnering with customers and cross-functional teams to scale parcel solutions for evolving eCommerce, returns, and distribution. Responsibilities- Define and commercialize DHL's parcel transportation solutions, including offerings, pricing inputs, service models, and governance.
- Collaborate with Business Development, Account Management, Solution Design, Operations, and customers to design programs meeting service, cost, speed, visibility, returns, and customer experience needs.
- Support pursuits and expansions by translating market insights into executable, value-driven solutions.
- Lead carrier strategy and manage sourcing, rate cards, SLAs, capacity planning, and relationships across national, regional, postal, gig, and specialty parcel providers.
- Ensure profitability and financial controls, including billing accuracy, accruals, and cost-to-serve improvements.
- Create scalable onboarding, implementation, daily management, exception handling, and claims processes; coordinate with fulfillment, distribution, IT, and carriers.
- Define analytics roadmap, build dashboards and reporting, and use insights to optimize carrier mix, service levels, and programs.
- Build and develop a high-performing team and foster a collaborative, customer-focused culture focused on service, cost, quality, and profitable growth.
Key requirements- 7-10 years in logistics, parcel, eCommerce, or related supply chain experience
- 5+ years in parcel transportation including carrier management, program design, rate structures, and operations
- Experience managing multi-carrier programs and negotiating carrier contracts and terms
- Experience managing P&L, freight spend, and billing controls
- Proven leadership of cross-functional teams in customer-facing environments
- Experience supporting new business pursuits, solution design, implementation, and executive reviews
- Deep knowledge of parcel market dynamics, carrier capabilities, and peak planning
- Strategic leadership to build and operate scalable parcel solutions
- Carrier sourcing, negotiation, governance, scorecarding, and relationship management
- Advanced analytical skills to define KPIs, dashboards, and continuous improvements
