Overview In this role you help high net worth clients with tax compliance and planning, leveraging deep knowledge of personal income, estate and gift taxes, and entity taxation for business owners. Responsibilities- Review basic to complex individual and other tax returns
- Research and document analyses for tax planning and compliance
- Interact with clients and their advisors; communicate project status to supervisors and teams
- Assist with billing, cash collection, recruiting, and training activities
- Manage client engagements and supervise junior staff; provide performance feedback
- Pursue tax knowledge through engagements and current developments; identify planning opportunities
- Participate in business development and networking; drive cross-service opportunities
- Monitor KPIs and collaborate with other lines of business to expand service delivery
- Supervise and train associates and senior associates; schedule workload and provide career guidance
- Train others on software tools and PCS methodology
- Act as primary client contact for issue resolution and presentation of findings
- Adapt to a deadline-driven environment and multi-project management
Key requirements- Seven (7) or more years of public accounting and private client services experience
- CPA or Licensed Attorney, required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, required
- Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation, preferred
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or Master of Laws (LLM) in Taxation, preferred
- Experience with Gosystems and BNA Tax Planner, preferred
- Microsoft Office Suite experience, preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication
