Overview

In this role you support data and technology requests, complex reporting, and risk modeling to help minimize credit and operating losses. You collaborate with Global Risk Analytics and GRM to analyze portfolio trends, develop data solutions, and address internal and external reporting needs. You work with technology teams to implement data needs and improve data quality and controls. This is a bank-focused analytics role with opportunities to influence risk management and data governance.

Responsibilities
  • Support development and execution of reporting to help risk owners identify and manage risk
  • Analyze portfolio and loss trends and contribute to data design and alignment with business strategy
  • Provide analytical support on product initiatives across risk functions and lines of business
  • Develop database production processes and performance reports for senior management using data mining and advanced analytics
  • Respond to complex ad-hoc information requests from internal and external parties
  • Support cross-functional data quality remediation efforts
  • Monitor outputs of controls and investigate control alerts
  • Collaborate with data stewards, owners, and technology teams to support data initiatives and drive requirements
Key requirements
  • Bachelor or Master in computer science, system analysis, Information Systems or related field
  • 1-3+ years in data sourcing, data wrangling, or data engineering
  • Strong process, systems analysis, design and documentation skills
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and adapt to changing requirements
  • Understanding of risk management and data management principles
  • Experience in product and project management, including planning, delivery, and JIRA
  • SQL skills; knowledge of Python is a plus
  • Data quality, data lineage awareness, and data visualization skills
