Overview In this role, you will drive new client acquisition and expansion of financial wellness solutions for mid-to-large organizations. You will partner with Relationship Managers to pursue opportunities within the East Territory, engaging senior decision-makers to position health and benefit accounts, student debt solutions, earned wage access, and other workforce-finance capabilities. The role blends strategic business development with risk-aware deal framing and cross-functional collaboration. You will travel within the territory to meet clients, prospects, and partners and help grow revenue and market share.
Compensation / Benefits Responsibilities- Set acquisition strategies and lead new client sales efforts for financial wellness solutions
- Drive revenue growth, market share, and wallet share with complex client needs
- Originate, analyze financials, negotiate, and document non-credit products and services
- Manage risk/return and ensure quality in new and existing client relationships
- Identify client needs, provide insights, and quantify opportunities to deepen client engagement
- Build and leverage internal and external relationships to source and close opportunities
- Present the full bank solution range to clients and drive cross-sell across products
- Utilize reporting and sales tools to identify and convert opportunities
- Mentor teammates and share best practices in financial wellness solutions
- Coordinate with Relationship Managers to support an active pipeline and close deals
Key requirements- 8+ years of industry experience
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience)
- Strong competencies in client relationship management, customer experience, and sales negotiation
- Ability to analyze complex financial wellness solutions and benchmark against industry standards
- Willingness to travel within the East Territory and work with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and strategic selling skills
- Experience with origination, negotiation, and closing of deals in professional services or manufacturing/healthcare/wholesale/general services sectors is preferred
