Overview In this role you engineer advanced radar signal processing algorithms and develop high-fidelity simulations to support airborne radar systems. You will collaborate with senior engineers within Lockheed Martin MFC to design wireless datalinks and radar solutions for defense applications. The work centers on RF signal processing, DSP techniques, and hardware/software co-design, offering exposure to cutting-edge defense technology. Responsibilities- Design and implement RF signal processing algorithms for radar and wireless links
- Model signal processing chains in MATLAB/Simulink and verify with simulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on datalink and radar system design for defense applications
- Support hardware co-design and prototyping using RF hardware and SDR platforms
- Develop and validate high-fidelity simulation environments and test plans
- Contribute to understanding of RF and digital hardware principles during co-development
Key requirements- Masters in Electrical Engineering or other STEM degree
- Strong DSP techniques for RF applications (radar, wireless) and SDR effects including path loss and multipath fading
- Understanding of wireless channel propagation
- Strong mathematics skills in complex arithmetic, linear algebra, probability and statistics
- Proficient in modeling with MATLAB & Simulink
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance
