Overview

As Project Manager in the Strategic Program Management Office, you will guide strategic initiatives across Pulte Financial Services, translating business challenges into actionable solutions. You will partner with stakeholders across levels to define plans, manage risks, and drive benefits realization in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The role blends research, analysis, and design to support a broad set of programs, including mortgage, title, and insurance domains. Responsibilities
  • Lead discovery activities: case for change, vision, options, scope, and cost/benefit
  • Build business cases, measure benefits, and drive realization
  • Conduct data analysis or coordinate analysts to inform decisions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align on solutions and manage risks
  • Define project plans and deliverables to meet objectives
  • Guide design deliverables including process design, requirements, vendor selection, and organizational design
  • Oversee change management, communication planning, and implementation planning
  • Coordinate with technology partners and third parties to translate needs into requirements
  • Manage strategic projects across departments and suppliers
  • Report progress to sponsors and executives
Key requirements
  • 5+ years in a project environment with strategy, envisioning, process design, performance measurement, IT, or consulting
  • 3+ years leading projects with full PM ownership across scope, budget, communication, and stakeholder management
  • 3+ years in residential mortgage lending
  • Strong written and verbal communications tailored for diverse audiences
  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio; advanced Excel for data analysis
  • Experience in an Agile development environment is preferred
  • Ability to learn quickly, develop subject matter expertise, and adapt to multiple scenarios
  • PMP certification or equivalent understanding; Lean Six Sigma preferred but not required
