Overview In this role you lead the outdoor recreation grants team within FPR, coordinating state and federal grant programs to fund Vermont's outdoor recreation opportunities. You act as a liaison with federal agencies, collaborate with internal offices, and represent the grants team at meetings and conferences. You'll focus on process improvement, clear grant communication, and ensuring effective grant administration. This is a mission-driven, public-sector leadership position with travel and cross-division collaboration.

Responsibilities- Administer state and federally-funded outdoor recreation grant programs
- Serve as liaison for federal funding agencies
- Collaborate with FPR business office and recreation program staff to oversee grant funding
- Support process improvement and internal/external communication
- Explain grant process and requirements to potential applicants
- Assess and communicate impacts of grant making in Vermont
- Supervise a team of 2-3 Outdoor Recreation Grant Specialists
- Represent grants team at meetings, conferences and public settings
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or public administration OR related field with sufficient experience OR equivalent combinations
