Overview In this role you will deliver comprehensive financial planning to affluent clients, partnering with Wealth Advisors, Trust Advisors and Portfolio Managers to craft sophisticated strategies. You will deepen client relationships by presenting plans and guiding conversations on retirement, estate, tax and wealth transfer topics. Your work supports cross-team collaboration and enhances client experiences through clear, actionable guidance and reliable planning outputs. This is an opportunity to shape high level financial planning for UHNW clients while improving planning processes and tools.
Responsibilities- Create comprehensive financial plans using cash flow planning software with modeling, Monte Carlo simulations and stress testing
- Enter and validate client data in planning applications and ensure accuracy of assumptions
- Draft planning summaries and client-ready deliverables with limited oversight
- Support estate planning with net-worth statements, trust projections, liquidity analyses, and wealth-transfer scenarios
- Create modular analyses (retirement, tax, estate, insurance, education, business succession, philanthropic) for client conversations
- Conduct scenario modeling to compare planning alternatives and trade-offs
- Lead client meetings to gather data, articulate planning concepts, and present plans
- Distill complex planning concepts into clear, actionable guidance for sophisticated clients
- Serve as an ongoing resource to Wealth Advisors, Trust Advisors and Portfolio Managers
- Create wealth planning collateral and resources across retirement, education, insurance, estate planning, business succession, philanthropic planning
- Support business development with pre-meeting planning insights for prospective clients
- Contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes, tools, workflows and client experience standards
Key requirements- 3-5+ years of experience drafting and presenting financial plans to clients and prospects
- Proficiency with eMoney or other cash flow planning software (required)
- CFP designation or advanced credentials (CPA, JD, LL.M.) required
- Experience with retirement, tax, estate, insurance and risk management planning
- Experience working with HNW/UHNW clients, business owners and multi-generational families
- Strong understanding of business succession, estate, philanthropic, insurance, education and financial planning concepts including tax and regulatory considerations
- Travel up to 40%
