(USA) Operations Manager, Fleet Safety

In this role you will lead a fleet safety program for Walmart's private transportation operations, driving world-class safety and efficiency. You'll supervise a team, deliver training, and ensure compliance with safety regulations to protect drivers and the public. You'll investigate incidents, analyze data, and implement improvements that reduce risk and improve performance. • identify risks and conduct driver safety training
• supervise team and enforce safety protocols
• manage accident reporting and investigations
• maintain OSHA compliance and safety standards
• stay up-to-date with DOT/FMCSA/PHMSA/CVSA and state regulations
• manage vehicle maintenance knowledge and safety paperwork
• communicate safely with customers, suppliers, and associates
• forecast staffing, workload, and safety performance
• prepare and analyze business reports to monitor productivity and safety

• Bachelor's degree in relevant safety or 2+ years in field with option 2: 4 years in traffic safety and 2 years TPM or continuous improvement experience
• experience in safety within supply chain or retail
• knowledge of regulations: DOT, FMCSA, PHMSA, CVSA, and state rules
• ability to supervise and develop teams and manage safety performance
• strong communication with stakeholders and ability to implement business plans
