Overview

As an Employment + Labor Associate, you support clients on complex compliance and litigation matters, working within a top-tier team that handles high-stakes disputes and investigations. You will collaborate with cross-functional colleagues on due diligence, executive agreements, and significant employment actions across state and federal courts. Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level employment law advice on compliance issues to clients on a day-to-day basis
  • Litigate issues such as trade secret/employee mobility, whistleblower (SOX, Dodd-Frank), wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and pay disputes
  • Defend companies in complex state and federal employment actions including wage-hour and pay equity class actions
  • Conduct workplace investigations involving C-suite and other leaders
  • Perform due diligence on employment law issues in mergers, acquisitions, financings, and other transactions
  • Negotiate executive employment, separation, and related agreements
Key requirements
  • 4-6 years of experience with litigation at the core
  • Strong writing and client-relations skills; able to manage litigation with limited supervision
  • Ability to draft and argue substantive briefs and motions; depose witnesses
  • Trial experience is preferred but not required
  • Bar admission in the practicing state or eligibility to waive
