Overview

In this role you will lead the regional real estate strategy and financial management, shaping portfolio performance and cost efficiency. You will partner with cross-functional teams to drive transactions, leases, and capital planning while overseeing vendors and project delivery. The position offers strategic influence across real estate decisions for Aptiv's global growth and transformation in mobility. You will enable data-driven decisions on occupancy, cost of ownership, and scenario planning, contributing to safer, greener, and more connected mobility.

Responsibilities
  • Lead regional real estate strategy and portfolio optimization, including lease administration, acquisitions, and divestitures
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and contract negotiations for owned and leased properties
  • Oversee supplier relationships in FM, construction, and CRE to ensure cost efficiency and SLA adherence
  • Conduct financial due diligence and modeling for real estate decisions (lease vs buy, asset valuations)
  • Support space utilization plans and occupancy trends; develop transition plans for M&A/spin-offs
  • Coordinate with finance, legal, procurement, and operations to align transactions with corporate goals
  • Oversee regional construction projects, design standards, and workplace optimization
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, risk management, and business continuity planning
  • Engage with landlords, brokers, and internal stakeholders to benchmark market trends
  • Drive benchmarking and market analysis with external partners to inform real estate strategy
Key requirements
  • 15+ years of experience in corporate real estate, lease negotiations, site selection, facilities management and project management
  • Strong financial and analytical skills with portfolio optimization and capital project experience
  • Proven leadership in large-scale real estate transactions and cost optimization
  • Experience managing real estate aspects of corporate growth and restructuring
  • Legally able to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation abilities
