Overview

In this role you help bring CellXpress.ai to life for life science customers by leading liquid handling automation projects from evaluation to adoption. You will work within the Global Sales Team to translate research protocols into scalable workflows and provide hands-on scripting, troubleshooting, and training. This position offers global exposure with a strong emphasis on North America, cross-functional collaboration, and the chance to shape automated solutions that accelerate scientific discovery.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the application and liquid handling subject matter expert for evaluations, implementations, workflow optimization, and adoption of CellXpress.ai
  • Develop, test, optimize, document, and troubleshoot liquid handling scripts and automated workflows (Hamilton platforms)
  • Translate customer cell culture protocols and lab processes into reliable, repeatable CellXpress.ai workflows
  • Support pre-sales technical discovery, demonstrations, installations, and post-install optimization
  • Diagnose and resolve application, scripting, workflow, labware, consumable, software, and hardware issues; coordinate escalations as needed
  • Create and maintain workflow maps, scripting records, method specs, training materials, and customer handoff documentation
  • Provide approximately 80% support to North American customers and 20% to global customers, with 50-70% travel
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of application experience supporting laboratory automation or automated liquid handling
  • Hands-on experience with automated liquid handling method development, scripting, testing, optimization, and troubleshooting; Hamilton platform experience required
  • Experience translating manual lab protocols into automated workflows including workflow mapping and documentation
  • Based in North America and able to travel 50-70% (including overnight and international)
