Overview As a Project Manager in Construction Materials Testing and Special Inspections, you drive project success for civil and commercial construction by coordinating testing, observations, and site assessments. You will nurture client relationships, prepare proposals, and manage budgets while leading field personnel and coordinating lab and site activities. This role sits within Intertek-PSI, a global quality assurance leader, offering growth in a dynamic A/E/C environment. Responsibilities- Attend and lead project meetings; maintain client relationships and pursue new opportunities
- Review project setup; prepare and seek internal/external review of advanced proposals
- Conduct contract review and negotiation; monitor budgets and initiate change orders
- Prepare and submit invoices; manage project close-out duties
- Supervise field personnel; address equipment issues and replacement needs
- Assist with lab, field, and administrative duties as needed
- Understand Construction Materials Testing business processes and requirements
Key requirements- Bachelor in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering
- Some experience in Construction Materials Testing
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Internal PMCP completion within 6 months of hire
