Overview In this role you will help deliver process utility solutions for industrial clients within a collaborative, growth-focused engineering firm. You'll work with cross-functional teams to design, document, and implement utility systems, shaping best practices and using advanced design tools. The position offers hands-on project exposure, mentorship for junior staff, and travel opportunities, contributing to challenging projects and professional growth. Responsibilities- Collaborate with other project disciplines to deliver integrated solutions
- Prepare equipment specifications and technical documentation
- Generate cost estimates and contribute to proposals with clients and vendors
- Create mass and energy balances for process design
- Produce P&IDs and compile equipment lists, line lists, and POC documentation
- Define operational parameters and performance criteria
- Translate concepts into drawings with designers
- Author installation scope documents for construction teams
- Support on-site construction and installation activities
- Assist with system checkout and start-up
- Mentor and coach junior team members
- Conduct on-site surveys and travel as needed
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent technical experience
- 7+ years of experience with utility systems
