Product Engineer II - Utility Solutions

Overview

In this role, you will design, build, and support geospatial solutions for electric, gas, water, sewer, stormwater, and telecom utilities. You'll collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to tailor ArcGIS configurations and information models that solve industry-specific challenges. The position combines hands-on product work with documentation, testing, and customer enablement to deliver simple, impactful solutions. You'll contribute to product design, quality, and release readiness while evangelizing ArcGIS Solutions. This role offers opportunities to shape how utilities leverage location data to improve operations.

Responsibilities
  • Discover customer needs and craft geospatial solutions for utilities
  • Configure ArcGIS apps, tools, and information models for industry uses
  • Document configuration and usage patterns of ArcGIS Solutions
  • Create and maintain product documentation and enablement materials
  • Contribute to product design for ease of use and good customer experience
  • Collaborate with customers, software development, business development, and professional services
  • Draft and review ArcGIS Solutions product briefs and presentations
  • Design and author test cases; execute manual and automated tests; analyze results
  • Assess product quality, release readiness, and maintain existing ArcGIS Solutions
  • Present and evangelize solutions to internal and external audiences
Key requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in utilities, infrastructure, or telecommunications industries with ArcGIS in workflows
  • Experience implementing and utilizing ArcGIS Utility Networks
  • Ability to document and build GIS workflows
  • Creative problem solver and team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in geography or related field
